Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc meets Iranian Ambassador Saleh Adibi

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc was pleased to see the relationship between Vietnam and Iran developed well last time.Prime Minister Hosni Mubarak has been re-elected to the presidency of Prime Minister Hassan Rouhani through Prime Minister Saleh Adibi.

Thank you Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc for the next time, Ambassador Saleh Adibi highly appreciated the Government of Vietnam has many positive reforms in many areas, especially trade and investment. Iran always affirms the traditional friendship between the two countries and hopes to promote this relationship to develop better.

He said that Iran is working to expand relations with countries in the world, including South East Asia with a focus on Vietnam. 
Recently, a delegation of 30 Iranian businesses came to Vietnam to explore business opportunities, working with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Ambassador expected by 2020, trade turnover of the two countries will increase to $ 2 billion. Iran also wishes to cooperate with Vietnam in the banking sector, wishing to set up a joint commission in this field to promote cooperation.

Admire the opinion of Ambassador Saleh Adibi, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the two countries should continue to exchange high-level delegations to promote political and diplomatic relations. 
Accompanying with that is to accelerate the achievement of the target of two billion USD two-way trade turnover in 2020. Therefore, the two sides should cooperate to have a favorable mechanism, especially the mode of payment between enterprises The two sides.Recognizing the potential for cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries, the Ambassador said that the two sides create favorable conditions for tourists to easily enter each others markets, including visa procedures. 
Iran also wants to promote cooperation in the fields of science, technology and agriculture.

At the meeting of the two intergovernmental committees, Vietnam will propose stronger measures to promote trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. Which will facilitate and motivate banks to participate in this process. Vietnam also wants to boost cooperation with Iran in the fields of agriculture, oil and gas, asking Iran to create conditions for Vietnamese businesses to invest in Iran.

Meeting with the ambassador on promoting tourism cooperation between the two countries, the PM affirmed that it would create favorable conditions for Iranian tourists to Vietnam.
